Spring Classes + February News
February officially kicks off the beginning of our spring semester! We are excited to continue dancing with our returning students while also welcoming some new students to the studio.
Thinking about joining one of our classes? It's not too late! As things have shifted around during this first week of class, a few classes that were initially full now have a spot or two available. If there's a class you were interested in that previously appeared full, take another look at our registration page to see if there's now an opening.
Here are a few classes that currently have openings:
Tap/ballet/tumbling for ages 6-8 Wednesday 3:00-4:00
Contemporary for ages 10+ Thursday 5:00-6:00
Jazz for ages 8-12 Friday 5:00-6:00
END OF YEAR PERFORMANCE
During spring semester, our students will learn choreography that they will eventually perform onstage in a recital complete with costumes and lighting. All Steppin’ Out students will have the opportunity to perform on June 1st. Our intermediate and advanced dancers will have the opportunity to perform on the 1st as well as the 2nd for our advanced dancer showcase. Please put the weekend of June 1st-2nd in your calendars now!
FACULTY HIGHLIGHT: WELCOME TEACHER AMBER!
We are excited to welcome Amber Gott to our Saturday morning teaching staff this semester! Amber is originally from London, UK and is a recent graduate of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She feels lucky to have received excellent dance teachings, choreographic opportunities and learn pedagogical practices while training at the Conservatory. Since moving to San Francisco she has been dancing with Kinetech Arts and MFDP|SF. She is very excited to be joining the Steppin’ Out team for the season.
